The ELA Technology standard for Kindergarten is to create and publish writing with the instructional help from teachers and collaboration of peers. This standard is really interesting for such a low grade. I feel fairly comfortable using something like this, though it may be challenging for the students at that age to write coherent sentences. But I may be discounting them.

One of the resources in the CPALM toolkit for visual art was on motion. The instruction was to better understand how to capture three different type of motion techniques in photography: frozen action, blurred action, and panning. The lesson is also to get learners to be able to observe this in pictures. Hopefully, if able to recognize it in still photographs they are better able to recognize what they should or should not freeze, blur, or pan in their own artwork.

I think good searching practices are important to demonstrate in the classroom for two reasons: to saves time and to avoid inappropriate websites. Google scholar is nice to stay peer reviewed and factually valid while online. And using quotation marks helps in remaining on topic. It is also important to remember that videos can be useful, especially when teaching/learning about HOW to do something.
